During this surgery, disturbing scars will be cut out and re-closed by using a fine suture technique. In cases where the scars run unfavourably, this run must be altered in order to get an improvement of the aesthetic results. This may be achieved by using for example a Z-flap.

The operations will be carried out nearly exclusively out-patient using local anaesthesia.
